Any Concerns that I had, I was able to address them to Austin who makes sure the issue was resolved, Thank you so much Austin!! Also the Occupational and Physical Therapists are Excellent Thanks to them as well!! They make things happen. Also Thanks to the Nursing staff to many to name for taking care of me!!!
This facility is SO much better than I thought it was going to be. My 94-year-old father had an extended stay in the hospital, so I was really nervous about sending him to a nursing home to get stronger. My good friend Kim ,who is a nurse , had two family members stay there last autumn, and said they did an amazing job. She is 100% correct! Everyone at Whitehall was caring and concerned and truly worked to help my dad get ready to go home. Daniel, Katelyn, Carol in PT, Kristin the CRNP and many others whose names i should have written down, did an exceptional job! The facility never smelled, was always clean, someone responded to my father’s call bell in a timely manner, the food was pretty good, and the therapy first rate. If any of my family members need skilled nursing care In the future, I would feel very good about sending them to Whitehall.

My sister was mistreated while there. She fell of the bed and left on the floor for 3 hours. This place was dirty, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, bathroom floors are nasty, wallpaper coming off walls, unsanitary, leave patients with fluid draining from legs on floor, keeps serving the same thing and didn’t even ask for it, food nasty as ever. My sister refused to eat, throwing up and nurse refused to clean, another nurse refused to take her to bathroom, nurses are lazy as all hell, want to wish good vibes after being mean to patients!

I am a frequent visitor at this facility as an RN myself I tend to have strong impressions as I do now. For every visit I make I am so satisfied from the cleanliness ,decor amenities, dress code and especially the staff! First I believe it starts with leadership and hiring practices. I spoke at length about my friend I visit and his particular needs. He was understanding and gave me ideas for accommodate my friend The RN taking care of my friend was Olga who was so kind and obvious to me she loves what she does I have never passed any employee that they didn’t say Hi or how are you today. The housekeepers and dietary sides were so nice. I asked my friend if everyone here is so nice. He said yes they are. They all deserve to read this and be recognized. Thank you

I would recommend this facility over other ones ive been to. I was at another facility prior to this one and refused to go back there. My exerience here has been the opposite in a positive way. This one is well run and the staff is friendly and caring. I have been here for nearly two months and am walking again. Before I came here I was not even able to stand. I have seen patients be difficult or refuse to work with staff, but I have witnessed the staff to remain polite and supportive. I found the administrator Austin and director/assistant director of nursing Zach and Melissa to be very accommodating to special requests. I have found the facility to be clean. I am offered a shower twice a week and can have upon request. The response time for the call button are usually pretty quick. My nurse Merrell is very nice and prays for me. I do feel like the staff care about me and have helped me be successful. The administrative staff have communicated well with me on my stay. My dietary requests have been honored after specifying them. The only downside is this is a non-smoking facility.

I came to Whitehall today to visit my dear friend there was little black bugs running across the floor in his room. They need to get a exterminator. And he said he made a few complaints already, but nobody did anything

I visited my grandmother and was shocked by the lack of attention and organization at this facility. The call bell was ringing for 45 minutes, and when I went to find someone, staff seemed too busy to help. Patients were left waiting for hours, and management didn’t even acknowledge the situation. The overall environment felt chaotic and uncaring. I expected basic responsiveness and compassion, but this place fell far short.

If you truly care about your family member’s safety and dignity, I strongly advise you to look for another facility. My experience with Whitehall Borough Post Acute was overwhelmingly negative, and I walked away feeling like this is not a place I would ever trust with someone I love. The biggest issue is the lack of real care and involvement from management and certain staff. The aides are the only people who consistently help residents, and they are stretched thin because they’re doing almost everything alone. I personally saw residents waiting far too long for basic help because management and other staff simply didn’t step in. That’s not just disappointing — it’s dangerous. A nursing home should have leadership that shows up, supports their team, and makes residents feel safe. That’s not what I saw here. The environment felt unorganized, unsupported, and not focused on resident well-being. Families deserve peace of mind, not stress or uncertainty. I highly recommend choosing a nursing home that actually cares and has strong leadership. Concordia at Rebecca Residence is everything this place is not — professional, supportive, and truly committed to caring for their residents. Management there actually helps, communicates, and ensures families feel confident in their loved one’s care. and if I could give zero stars, I would

I received excellent care during my stay at Whitehall. The nurses and nursing assistants were kind, caring and compassionate. I met some really great people who helped me get through a tough process. The therapy department was superior. They got me back to where I need to be. The great care I received got me back on my feet not only physically but mentally as well. Thank you, Whitehall, for all your help!

I was very pleased with the care I received at this facility. My nurses and care assistants were attentive and patient. The PT and OT departments were especially good. They were supportive and helped me attain the physical and emotional level I needed when I was released to come home. I will ever be grateful.

They are short staffed & as much as I know it is NOT their fault personally, if your family memeber is in one of these facilities, that is not what you want. The “hospice” service they offer, was absent for the most part. The cleanliness of the facility is not great either. I would suggest finding another facility, if possible for your family memebers. I would like to thank the nurses that did care, for taking care of my grandmother while she was alive.
If I could give zero stars I would. My mother is fully quadriplegic and requires consistent care. The staff regularly disregards her medication, does not respect her dietary needs, have left her unchanged or half changed for hours, literally have walked away from a person who cannot move or do anything for themselves and just left them there. They have not given her her call light blow tube that is vital to her calling for help. We have been told by other patients that if she puts the call light on, they will quietly walk in and check so they don’t have to care for her. They have not follow up with regular OT or PT which she needs. This place is beyond neglectful. Do not send your loved one here.
